Jansen Steel Was Created in 1923

In the decade when steel was first intensively incorporated into different architectural elements. and Architects Adolf Loos, Mies Van Der Rohe, And Le Corbusier birthed Steel Windows into the Vernacular of Modernism

Since then, Jansen has been dedicated to the research and development of steel systems that meet and exceed new technological, environmental and architectural needs. Jansen has a catalog of more than 3,000 different profiles, available in galvanized, stainless, and corten steel. All of them tested, tried and fit for duty. The Jansen culture of innovation and excellence has led to to the introduction of two stone cold killers of mediocrity in steel window systems.

This certificate was awarded based on the following criteria for the cool, temperate climate zone:

Comfort

Ucw = 0.80. ≤ 0.80 W/(m2 K)

Ucw installed ≤ 0.85 W/(m2 K)

with Ug = 0.70W/(m2K)

EXHIBIT B: U-value 0.12 - Janisol HI Steel Window

Operable Units - U-value 0.14

Triple glazed windows achieve excellent thermal conductivity coefficients (Uw), e.g. 0.69 W/m2K, U-value 0.12 for fixed lights and 0.8 W/m2K, U-value 0.14 for opening elements. The new window system has excellent structural values and achieves top values in system tests for (air/water/wind). The Janisol HI window was the first steel window that has been certified according to Minergie, (Minergie is a Swiss registered quality label for new and refurbished low-energy-consumption buildings.)
