It was highlighted that a 12 to 18% energy reduction is a minimum expectation for a radiant heating system in comparison to a convective
system providing equivalent comfort. Testing by Hydro Quebec and Kansas State University demonstrated savings from 25% up to 50%.
Additional testing in European laboratories found 32 to 38 % less power required with IQ Radiant Glass compared to a traditional double pane unit & radiator to obtain the same resulting temperature of 69.8 °F (21 °C).
