A Design Contest Using Jansen Arte 2.0 and IQ Radiant Glass

On a previous post we announced Let the Arte 2.0 begin.

Our studio artist had been busy and has laid out the glass component details of "The Last of The Mohicans" oil masterpiece by N.C .Wyeth This is the first part of the design process,

The glass work will take several months to complete. We will provide details on the progress. Our vision is that this glass rendition be part of a transom for a mounmental opening using Jansen Steel folding, sliding or VISS pivot.doors.

The doors will be fitted with IQ Radiant Heating Glass . No details are required for the heating glass. We will provide those details to the ultimate buyer who will make their own decisions on the ultimate use.

While the work is in progress, we have elected to offer the ongoing work product as a learning experience for architects. This will be the essence of the design challenge and contest.

IQ Radiant Glass uses Jansen exclusively for our bespoke steel windows and doors and the designs for this challenge the contestants must use Jansen details.

Our goal is to educate the US market on the many applications of, steel windows and doors by Jansen.

The contest is open to all architects, architectural .students and designers.

We anticipate that some senior AIA architects volunteers will be on the judging panel.

The winner will have their resume and work product hosted on a post in our Notebook and on Linkedin. All entrant submissions will be categorized and pubished in our blog.

Official dates, terms and rules will be published on or about Septemer 20, 2021. The contest end date will be in December.
