TOUR THE PROJECT

This historic home of Peter Muhlenberg, American patriot and Colonel in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, had been tortured with “modernization" and neglect. Our goal, established by Milner Architects, was to replicate true period details to restore this important local treasure to its original condition.

Restoring historic glass with faux "historic glass" was not contemplated - instead, we were able to track down two cases of handblown, period appropriate glass that had been stored in an Indiana barn for 165 years.
